Our Student Success Coach Model

At ThrivePoint High School, we believe every student deserves personalized support to reach their goals. That’s why we’ve built our unique Student Success Coach Model—a one-on-one mentorship approach designed to guide students from enrollment to graduation and beyond. Whether you're learning online or on campus, your coach is your advocate, motivator, and biggest fan.

Student Success Coaches (SSCs) - also sometimes known as learning coaches -  are dedicated mentors who work closely with students to help them stay on track, build confidence, and prepare for their Next Big Step. Each coach supports a small group of students—typically a 50:1 ratio—ensuring personalized attention and meaningful relationships.

Coaches check in regularly, help set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate achievements. They’re trained to support both academic and social-emotional needs, making sure students feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.

Our Student Success Coaches are more than mentors—they’re motivators, guides, and champions for every student. Their mission is to:

• Communicate clearly and consistently
• Encourage and celebrate progress
• Guide students through challenges
• Equip them with confidence and problem-solving skills
• Help identify strengths and areas for growth
• Hold students accountable to their goals

They build a winning game plan for each student and help them trust the process—because success isn’t just about academics, it’s about believing in yourself.

Our Student Success Coach Model is built on trust, communication, and a belief that every student can succeed. By combining academic guidance with mentorship, we create a learning environment where students feel empowered to take ownership of their education and confidently move toward their future.
