At ThrivePoint High School, we understand that students can fall behind in their coursework for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, in a traditional education model, it can be very difficult to catch up and get back on track. When students are held back, it can lead to higher dropout rates among other issues. We believe there is another way, and we are here to help! Our Credit Recovery program for students in Glendale, Avondale, Buckeye, Phoenix, & Surprise AZ, can help them get back on track with flexible learning options without sacrificing instructional quality. We give students the opportunity to rebuild their confidence and earn those credits and get back on the path to graduation.

ThrivePoint also offers an online high school program, independent study program, home school program, and special education.

What exactly is Credit Recovery?

When a student fails a class and falls behind, no matter the reason, they must retake that course. In Arizona, the State Board sets the Arizona College and Career Readiness Standards which requires students to take specific courses to graduate. Depending on the number of courses a student fails or falls behind in, this can cause a student to be “held back”, requiring them to retake the course(s) with a younger peer group.
