Credit Recovery Program for High School Students

At ThrivePoint High School, we recognize that students may encounter obstacles that cause them to fall behind in their coursework. We understand the detrimental impact this can have on their educational journey, which is why we have developed an extensive Credit Recovery program designed to provide a solution. We firmly believe that every student deserves a chance to succeed, and our program offers a pathway for students in Glendale, Avondale, Buckeye, Phoenix, and Surprise, AZ, to regain their academic footing. Our Credit Recovery program goes beyond simply making up missed assignments.

We provide students with flexible learning options that accommodate their individual needs and circumstances, without compromising on instructional quality. Through personalized instruction, one-on-one support, and a tailored curriculum, we empower students to rebuild their confidence and make significant progress toward earning the credits needed for graduation. At ThrivePoint High School, we are committed to ensuring that students not only recover their academic standing but also regain a sense of purpose and achievement. Our dedicated teachers and staff work closely with students to address their unique challenges, provide targeted assistance, and create a supportive learning environment. What exactly is Credit Recovery?

When a student fails a class and falls behind, no matter the reason, they must retake that course. In Arizona, the State Board sets the Arizona College and Career Readiness Standards which requires students to take specific courses to graduate. Depending on the number of courses a student fails or falls behind in, this can cause a student to be “held back”, requiring them to retake the course(s) with a younger peer group.

How Does ThrivePoint High School’s Credit Recovery Program Work?

Our Credit Recovery program is designed to help students in Phoenix, Surprise, Buckeye, Avondale, and Glendale, AZ, study and complete course material at their own pace. With a 100% online format, students have the flexibility to learn from anywhere, on their time. Self-paced learning allows students to spend more time on what they need and less time on what they’ve already mastered. Our credit recovery courses offer the flexible research-based curriculum students need to catch up to their peers and graduate on time. We provide 1:1 support from certified teachers and student success coaches to provide the best possibility for success! Our teachers are available by text, phone, or even video chat to answer questions or even set up free tutoring sessions! Our goal is to get students back on track and ready to take that next big step in life!
